S&ME, Inc., an engineering and environmental services firm, is seeking an experienced Architectural Historian/Historian to be based in Columbia, South Carolina.
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least one year of Architectural History experience in the Eastern United States (Southeast preferred), possess a master’s degree or above in Architectural History, History, or closely related discipline, and meet the Secretary of the Interior’s standards for an Architectural Historian. The applicant must have good writing, organizational, and communication skills. Experience using GIS and/or CAD is a plus. Travel throughout the Eastern U.S. will be required.
