Development Assistant supports the fundraising efforts of the Hayward Area Historical Society in the areas of grant writing, membership, special events as well as other projects as needed. Reports to the Development Director.
Skills preferred: Must have a positive attitude, be detail oriented and dependable; ability to be flexible and work on a variety of projects; excellent writing skills are essential as is mastery of MS Office software; knowledge of Past Perfect software helpful. Interest in museums, community, fundraising and philanthropy.

Through education programs, interpretive exhibitions and the preservation of historic sites and artifacts, the Historical Society promotes an understanding about our shared history as we face issues that will shape our future.
