Job Description
Plans, develops, and manages programs and exhibits to inform the public of forestry programs, or historical, natural, and scientific features of historical sites, state parks or museums. Carries out state and federal mandated preservation programs and preservation activities. May supervise assigned staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Historical Preservation or a closely related field
AND
Two years of experience in a directly related area.
OR
Two years of experience at the lower level or position equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended; evaluating properties for eligibility for listing in the National Register of Historic Places; and assessment of effects to historic properties.
- Familiarity with Memoranda of Agreement and Programmatic Agreements.
- Completion of a master’s degree in historic preservation or a closely-related discipline.
